Blogging for Business

It seems I have a lot to learn about blogging for my business. I thought you could just say, I have this bunch of puppies for sale, and, put in a few keywords, like, puppies, yorkies, akc, and people would flock to it, and, love to visit so much they would write me a lot of nice comments. I also was thinking they would buy puppies from me especially after they saw all my great puppy pictures. View pictures at: picasaweb.google.com/djren28

Well not so apparently! I have had people visit and sold some pups. I just haven't had the response I thought I would have. So I started researching how to write blogs and get people headed to my page.

I have so much to learn and am just starting out. I hope to share the information here as I learn. I have to know my audience to start with. I don't have a clue. Who would my audience be? People who are looking for puppies, that is obvious but who are these people and where do you find them? I usually find them in newspaper classifieds online and by groups online that are dedicated to dogs. Yahoo has a lot of these. You can go to Yahoo.com and look up any breed of dog in their search for groups. Join the group and you have free advertising, if they let you sell on their group and most of them do.

So, I although I have a lot to learn about blogs, I have learned about selling dogs in the last 10 years.

If you want to learn more, as I do, about blogging then join me on my next blog adventure where I will be passing on what else I learn and will also share what I know about raising and selling dogs. I do know a bit about that.

I hope this blog is letting you know I have learned a little tiny bit about blogging.
